I am Floyd Brown's (Sneaky Snake) daughter. I am writing a paper for college about drag racing. I would like to know if any of you would answer some
questions for me.

1. When I saw my husband make the first pass, IT LOOKED LIKE FUN!
2. It is an AWESOME thrill that can't be duplicated any where else but on the track. 3. I haven't conquered my goal and most of the people at the track are just extremely fun to be with and know. |

1. Me and my dad got our first dragbike together to spend time with each other
2. The speed and feelin of leavin the line and seein how fast I can go without killin myself lol 3. Because it's addictive. Once I got my first win I have been hooked every since and just wanna see how far i can go with it. |

1. Grew up watchin ABC's "Wide World of Sports" with my dad in the 1960s, car racing was our favorite. Something about the strange lookin cars
and the wide variety of cars and classes in drag racing struck a chord with me.
2a. The challenge of dealing with the almost limitless complexity of a sport that at first glance looks so simple. 2b. A few seconds on the track followed (usually) by a whole lot of sittin around. I have a short attention span and am lazy by nature. 3. Still enjoying 2a and 2b. |

Hey, good questions good topic! I would like to 1st say I remember a sneaky snake @ Blaney dragstrip late 70's 80's. and remember what started racin
for most was just whoopn up on a chevy (ford wanna be ,They just turned the engine around backwards)). Goat or dodge everything but service station or garage!
LOL! You had a brand and you lived or died by it. Good to see an old name around though Candace.
1) 65 fastback mustang stuffed w/351 ci , racin in the blood. 2) All the different people who are competetive to the max but will share and help anyone with as much fierceness.Racers are for the most part some of the best people in the world, God Bless us. 3) Wind blows, the sky's blue and water is wet and what 281 said!

In the early 70's my dad used to take us to National Trail Raceway on Sundays,And I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen,In 73 I started racing
myself,I was always into sports,but pretty much gave all of them up but drag racing.There is nothing better than WINNING A bracket race. I keep racing because
I look forward to the next time I am going to WIN. I will WIN again. Good luck with topic and the rest of your education.

1. I loved NASCAR growing up and ever since i can remember i wanted to be a racecar driver. In 2001 our neighbor Fred Campbell had a little gray mustang set up
for dragracing for sale over at his shop. Dad wanted a new toy and i guess mom wanted dad to shut up about it so he bought the car and race a few years. i kept
bugging him about it and he let me drive it... needless to say i took over driving and never looked back!
2. The best part about drag racing for me is from the time that i get in my car and shut the door until the time i step out... no matter if i win or lose that round everything else going on in my life doesnt matter. it clears your head. not to mention the rush you get when you (in my case) let off the button and feel the car shoot to the sky. 3. because nothing else in my life comes close to be able to replace it. i can go to the track and be with my family and friends all weekend long. i get to escape from everything else going on with the world. i get to have tons of fun and well talking crap after you womp on a 4 second rail and get a win light is always a blast! but seriously once it gets in your blood its hard to get out... |

I just wanted to tell everyone thank you for helping me with my paper. I got my grade back and I received an A. Without ya'lls answers and a place to do my
"research" I would not have received that grade.
